Security

This page describes how ScanQuote protects your account and your data. It is maintained by Western Software Development.

Hosting

ScanQuote is hosted on reputable cloud infrastructure with managed database, authentication, and edge compute. Traffic is served over HTTPS and data is encrypted in transit.

Authentication

Users sign in with email and password or with a supported identity provider. Sessions are managed by our authentication provider, and passwords are never stored in the clear.

Data isolation

Each company account has its own workspace. Server-side row-level security policies enforce that users can only read and modify data that belongs to their company account.

Backups and durability

The database is backed up by our managed database provider. You can also export your data from ScanQuote at any time.

Uploads

Uploaded measurement sheets are stored in a private bucket and served only to authenticated users of your company account. Upload size is capped to prevent abuse.

Reporting a vulnerability

If you believe you have found a security issue, please email support@scanquote.io with details. We take reports seriously and will respond promptly.

This page describes current practices and is not a certification. We do not currently hold SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar third-party audits.
